Rocheport I-70 Bridge

Project Synopsis:

Demtech performed underwater explosive demolition related work on concrete bridge piers for the Rocheport I-70 Bridge in Rocheport, Missouri. The scope included two substantial piers located in the Missouri River channel, each measuring 70 feet in length, 18 feet in width, and 36 feet deep. Operations required marine based equipment and precise coordination with river traffic protocols to ensure safe blasting activities within an active waterway. The work supported infrastructure replacement led by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT).
