Project Synopsis:

Demtech completed the controlled demolition of five large coal silos for Springfield Coal Company, located in Springfield, IL. The project featured four single silos measuring 160 feet in height with a 76-foot diameter, alongside a twin side-by-side silo configuration that reached 180 feet tall with a 72-foot diameter each. The concrete structures were safely and precisely brought down as part of site redevelopment efforts.
