Project Synopsis:
Demtech completed the precision explosive demolition of three large generator turbine pedestals at the Salt River Project’s Navajo Generating Station in Page, Arizona. Each structure housed a 750 megawatt turbine pedestal supported by 14 substantial reinforced concrete legs. The operation demanded meticulous planning and execution to dismantle the massive components safely within the active power generation substation in close proximity.
